Well, hi long lost blog friends! Happy Friday!Life has been crazy lately and I feel like such a hot mess. Work has picked up a lot since we’re now getting into our busiest time of year, and I’m just wiped out at the end of every day. On top of that Logan hasn’t been sleeping through the night for the last few weeks. Oof. Send more coffee. Fellow bloggers, I am still reading, but usually on my phone aka no comments! But today, I’m taking some time to share all the fun things we’ve been packing in lately! Here’s what we’ve been up to…
Last weekend we got together with some friends and headed to Trader’s Point Creamery (a local dairy farm + restaurant) for their Oktoberfest – hayrides, farm animals, food, music, and lots of people. Growing up on a farm myself, it makes me a little sad that he won’t be able to experience farm life the way I did. So, we dressed up our little city boy in his overalls and took him to see the farm! He loved seeing the animals and even tried to climb in with the piggies.
We had our family photos taken on Sunday morning and I am excited to get them back! For those of you in the Indy area, we used Megan Lena Photography and she was great to work with. Here are a few preview shots she took. I know I’m biased, but oh my goodness, I’m loving these pictures of Logan!
We also finally booked our flight to Hilton Head/Charleston for our family trip that’s coming up in November. It’s official! Now, please tell me all your tips for traveling on a plane with a toddler!!! I’m only slightly terrified.
I’ve also been loving that Fall TV is back! I’ve been watching Quantico, Younger and I’m still binge watching Parenthood. As for new shows, I am loving Timeless, I’m creeped out, but intrigued by Westworld, and I wasn’t all that impressed with the pilot of This Is Us. What are your favs?
This weekend Logan and I are on our own on Saturday since Dada will be going to the Purdue game. I forsee some mommy/Logan shopping adventures, perhaps a trip to the park and hopefully planting some spring bulbs in our front yard too. We’ll see how we do (read: what the toddler will allow us to do). I’m hoping he’ll at least allow for a quick trip to Trader Joe’s for some more of these yummies.
We also have ZooBoo on the agenda for Sunday and I’m hoping to squeeze in a trip to a big pumpkin patch here soon too. I may be crazy.
Hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
