Holiday Washi Tape Clothes Pin Magnets

Hello there! Only 2 weeks till Christmas! I just shipped off my holiday packages and I’ll be sharing some more of the handmade goodies I made for them. First up – cute, holiday washi tape magnets.

They are so simple to make. You’ll need: washi tape, wooden clothes pins, magnets, a hot glue gun and scissors.

First, place washi tape on one side of the clothes pin and trim excess off with scissors (I tried an exacta knife but  found that it tore the washi tape too much.)

Next cut off a strip of magnet that covers just the bottom portion of the clothes pin and hot glue it on. Even though the magnet comes with sticky tape, it’s not strong enough to hold it on for very long.

HolidayWashiClothesPinMagnetsI also made a piece of cardboard for the clothes pin to clip on to. I just used some thin cardboard and covered it in Christmas-y scrapbook paper and included a little stamped tag. Then put it all in a cellophane bag.
