My Travel Themed Bridal Shower

Back in July, my mom and bridesmaids threw me an amazing bridal shower. Lots of family and friends travelled quite a ways for the occasion and I got to meet a lot of My Man’s family. Thank you to everyone who came!

Today I’m sharing some pictures from the shower and the beautiful decorations.

Travel Bridal Shower

If you recall from this post, we chose a travel theme for the shower. We found a few props to help tie in the travel theme – a globe, suitcases, Love letters wrapped in map paper, a little Eiffel Tower – and then they also decorated with pictures of My Man and I from our trips we’ve taken.

Travel Bridal Shower Map Backdrop

The backdrop for the food table was a world map that was mounted onto foam core board and then decorated with paper fan medallions. At the top is an airplane with a banner that says “Best Wishes on Your Adventure as Mr. & Mrs!”

Travel Bridal Shower Luggage Cookie Cupcake

One of my bridesmaids (who couldn’t make it to the shower) made and shipped these adorable luggage sugar cookies.  Aren’t they cute?! My mom also made some  pretty cupcake wrappers on her Cricut and put in some toppers.

Travel Bridal Shower Luggage Recipe BoxWe found these theme-appropriate suitcase boxes at Michaels and used them as decorations and also as a place to collect recipes.

My beautiful bridesmaids and I. Thank you ladies for spoiling me at my shower!

I’m going to be throwing a similar shower in a few months, what kind of food was served? Thanks!

    • We didn’t do anything travel themed for the food except the cookies. We did standard shower finger foods. Good luck with your planning!
