Hello there and Happy Wednesday! Hope you’re all having a great week. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite go-to drugstore beauty products. Yes, since searching for quality makeup for my wedding, I’ve ventured over into the expensive name brand products of the beauty department, but sometimes the drugstore classics work just as well and are so much more budget friendly. So here’s my list of favorites. Continue reading
Hello and happy Monday! This weekend I tried out a new twist on an old favorite recipe: meatloaf. Instead of the traditional ground beef, I used lean turkey meat and my mini loaf pan to make individual loaves. Continue reading
Happy Friday! We made it through February. Here’s to hoping spring is coming soon. This week’s Five on Friday is dedicated to some new additions to my wardrobe and around the house. Continue reading
Well I’ve officially been at my new job for a month now and I am loving it so far! It allows me to be so much more creative than previous jobs and there’s always a lot of different projects going on so I’m never bored. Love it!
I am also loving that I am able to dress a little more professionally, but not so uptight that I can’t be stylish. Continue reading
Happy Friday blog friends! I’m linking up to Five on Friday again this week.
I signed up for a free class to learn how to use my new camera! The class is in a couple weeks and I’m excited to learn how to use it without relying on the auto mode setting.
Last weekend I went to Ulta to check out some different primers and concealers. I bought a sample size of Smashbox primer that I’ve been using this week and I have not been that impressed. Also, I found out that it is basically the same thing as this stuff. Who knew?
I really like my benefit 15 hour primer, but if I wear it too much I think it breaks me out, so I save it for special occasions. Anyone have any suggestions of great primers?
I’m so excited and honored that my blog friend Whitney from The Married Me nominated me for a Liebster Award!
The idea behind the Liebster Award is to bring exposure to up and coming blogs. To be nominated you must have less than 300 followers. When you receive a Liebster Award you answer the 11 questions that the nominator provided, create a new set of questions for the blogs you nominate, and then pay it forward by nominating up to 11 blogs. It’s a great way to find new blogs to read and to show your fellow bloggers some love.
To say that I’ve fallen off the healthy wagon would be an understatement. In the months leading up to the wedding, I was doing pretty well with watching what I ate and working out. Since the wedding I’ve just let it go. After so many months of restricting myself, I was just happy to eat whatever I wanted and not force myself to go to the gym. I didn’t have any upcoming events or goals I was working towards. So it’s no surprise that it’s started to catch up with me. So now I really want to get it under control and make some lifestyle changes towards being healthier. Continue reading
